Forget the Capitals... Europe is so much more and so much better than them. Let's start with a selection of my favourites, more or less in radom order.Top of the list comes Mostar in Bosnia I Hercegovina, the town where I left my heart: so much destruction there, I was always in tears - and so much hope for a better, more peaceful future. No other place I've been to has such positive vibes.Sticking to the Balkans area, Dubrovnik is surely worth a mention: a wonderful walled-town steeped in history and art. Budva, in Montenegro, is very similar to Dubrovnik, but on a smaller scale - and the surrounding sea is a bit dirtierFor mystical places the United Kingdom and Ireland are the places to be: not only for Stonehenge but also for Avebury and Glastonbury (all in England), but also for Maes Howe in the Orkney Islands in Scotland and Newgrange and Poulnabrone in Ireland.Art: Italy's got just...
