Though not a huge international tourist town, it is a noted one for older Germans and hence there is the requisite pedestrian shopping mall. It's unfortunate that some of the old town is scarred with the ugly intrusions to an otherwise timesless place. Still, side by side with the shops are great old architectural expamples.
