Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: The region is very green, because it rains a lot. Even on fine days the weather can change suddenly, so never forget to bring a rain-proof jacket with a hood or a cap. This is the advice I give most frequently to those who visit mountain regions.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You never know what the weather will throw at you = so pack for all seasons and wear sensible shoes!! When we visited here the temperatures were in 30 + be prepared and pack a clean T-Shirt just in case of over perspiration. Back packs should be removed = they cause your skin to over heat and leave an imprint when removed!!

Photo Equipment: Don't forget your camera = make sure it is fully charged or carry extra film = the views here are outstanding

Luggage and bags: Remember the new rules within the European Union: carry all liquids in a see-though bag no more no less than 1 litre. No containers with fluids exceeding 100 ml, they will be confiscated by airport security.
The best thing to do is to keep all your toiletries in the checked in luggage, then you don't have to worry.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Warm clothes in the winter. It gets cold, especially in the morning with the fog hanging low in the town. Also warm and comfortable booths for hiking.
Consider buying a ski outfit even though you are not skiing. It's adapted to the temperature and will keep you warm at all times.

Photo Equipment: You'll wanna remember your camera for this trip. Soo much to see and shoot. If you're not shooting digital, there are plenty of shops where you can replenish your film stock.

LIKE A CAKE - THE MORE LAYERS THE BETTER

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: When we went at the end of March it had just been snowing. At this time of year I would recommend warm clothes, hats and gloves.

Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Sun-tan lotion - it may be cold but the sun's rays are still strong (especially high up).

Miscellaneous: When away I always find myself wishing I had brought some binoculars. With the stunning views you can find in this part of the world I would highly recommend bringing some along. If your German is as bad as mine is - don't forget a phrase book!!
