There is a very contemporary building structure that provides the base the the other displays in the museum. Over 40 years this has been the home for the more weird and bizarre artists to display works.

Some may like it. I did not except for a couple of displays. Most are so called art beyond my norm of reason. Weird and bizarre is the depiction for a lot of it. It is stated the museum reverse the conventional wisdoms, and Buchheim was for sure not conventional in my arean.
The kick is for the tour, it costs 8,50 Euro, and that is a lot. It is open 10-6 daily. The tour may take a little over one hour, unless you like this type of art.
The main features are sculptures of strange things and designs, paintings of modern and contemporary "artists", expressionism art, blown glass, plates, molded paper mache pieces, African and Asian art displays and other varieties.
There is a reason it is called the museum of fantasy. Bring drugs to assimilate.

There were a lot of houses; most of them that were decorated and with scroll work and paintings. In the middle is a large church
