Bamara Says: There are several horse carriages at the landing of the boat to Herrenchiemsee. It`s nice to ride thru the natural garden. Especially in the summer heat it`s more relaxed than a 20 minute walk. For groups they accept reservations.
Bamara Says: You might think that I`m joking, but I`m not. I have seen some ladies entering the boat and the island with extremly high heels shoes, complaining about the uncomfortable pathes. It`s a relaxing, sporty area and no catwalk :-)

Chiemsee - wellknown and favorite for the castle
I have visited Herrenchiemsee for the first time in my live last June and I must say that I`m really impressed. Such a beautiful and romantic castle with a tremendous garden in a french style.
