tessy Says: I really was impressed by the Rezidenzplatz. It's so huge, compared to the small town. But it is beautiful.

tessy Says: We went to Eichstaett by bike. We left our bikes there and made our walk through the old town. there are so beautiful houses everywhere.

tessy Says: Sometimes I prefer buying some of these green things instead of flowers. they were all hand made, but as I had only a bike, I didn't buy one. :-(

tessy Says: Rebdorf is a bit outside from Eichstaett. It's a beautiful monastery with a boarding school.

tessy Says: We didn't visit the Willbaldburg, because we had to cycle back and we wanted to visit the quarry that day. It's situated up on a mountain. In former times, the bishops lived there (1355-1725). Today there are museums
tessy Says: Yeah - we found a fossil! yes, it's a little one, but imagine our happiness when being successful.You can rent a hammer and a chisel at the quarry. It was a lot of fun, a must see for families with the kids! They were all working hard to find something.Enlarge the pic and...

tessy Says: Eichstaett is situated in the valley of the Altmuehl. People go there to hike, to bike , to climb or to canoe. It's just between Munich and Nuremberg. What I liked most about Eicstaett was the atmosphere. Friendly people, beautiful monuments, lots of outdoor restaurants,...
