Located in a narrow mountain valley of the Western Alpine foothills, Ettal is very easy to reach by car.
On the way from Innsbruck (Austria) to Munchen (Germany), after the stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, we took the beautiful local road and finished in Ettal, just a few km away from the beautiful Olympic City that will host the Alpine Ski World Championship in 2009.
