Favorite thing: The architecture of the railway station is in a way typical for Fürth.
Fondest memory: The fountain in front of it, with the centaur motif, reminds me of the centaur fountain in Altona, which originally also stood in front of the railway station.

Favorite thing: The Rednitz is one of two rivers that pass Fürth. The other one is the river Pegnitz. Rednitz passes to the East of the Old Town, Pegnitz to the South. Northwest of the city center, they both flow together and from then on the river is called Regnitz. A little complicated?

Favorite thing: The tower you can see on the right side is the one of St. Michael, a Protestant church and the city's oldest one.
In the front you can see one of many houses adorned with slates, which are so tipical for the Old Town, you can find them on lots of houses.
Fondest memory: I was surprised to find such a cute city. I always thought Fürth was grey, dull and boring, ... but ... I now know better.

Favorite thing: Just walk around and look at the different buildings.
From quite old to quite modern you can find many interesting views.
Fondest memory: Fürth is not very big, so you can cover quite a lot of it on foot.

Favorite thing: The town hall is built of sandstone, and gives a sort of massive impression, almost a bit like a fortress.

Favorite thing: Königstraße is the aorta of the Old Town. Along this street you find the city hall, Jüdisches Museum Franken (Jewish Museum of Franconia), Stadttheater and many shops.
