When-ever I come to a place like Neuschwanstein, I take a walk there at night and try to get some nice night-shots with my camera, BUT that is almost not possible there, because both castles are not lighted well enough and the whole village of Schwangau gets spooky at night, just a few local cars in the village and nobody in the streets.
Take a walk in Fuessen instead, there is some nice nightlife, a few bars and many restaurants with local food...
Dress Code: NO dress-code in Fuessen or Schwangau, tourists and their casual wear is welcome everywhere !
