Beautiful views on turquoise waters of the Lech river and roofs of medieval Fuessen should open from the hill of Schlossberg I guess. Unfortunately, high walls of fortifications of the Castle do not allow admiring a panorama of the city from above. At least, we have not found such viewing platform, whence it would be possible to photograph a panorama of the city. Having looked in the Internet I don't found such pictures as well.
That's why I have drawn a conclusion, that there is no viewing tower in the Castle where visitors would be supposed for photo and video shooting. May be I am mistaken? The ideal point of shooting would be the tower of Stiftskirche St. Magnus. However I do not know, whether there is an access there, or not.

I pay everybody attention, that the city gallery is closed very early at 16.00. So it has turned out, that both our visiting of Fuessen occurred in the evening time. First time we appeared at an entrance of the gallery nearby 17.00. It was closed, that we were not surprised then.
Therefore next year we came to the gallery - at 15.30. But as we did not remember the time of closing of the gallery during the previous visiting - our second attempt has appeared unsuccessful as well. The gallery still worked, but tickets in booking-office were not on sale any more because in half of an hour the gallery had to be closed.
Now we precisely know an operating time of the gallery and in the third time we shall necessarily come in time.

This Town of Fuessen, is located close to Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle's, so would make a good base to stay and explore the area.
