    Very touristy town

    GAP is justifiably one of Germany's most touristy towns. Every second house is a guesthouse or hotel.
    The hotels are usually in Bavarian houses and beautiful themselves.

    The Bavarian "Lüftlmalerei" - which is common in southern Bavaria is beautiful and unique. So much work is put into this. Every house is like a piece of art!

    There are several different Mountains to go up by cable car, the one we found was called "Wank!", never mind, it's a great ride to the top, a bar there too of course! I think the cost is €10 return.

    The German wood craftsman take great pride in there work. Some of the wood structures have been around for 100s of years. It does add a nice touch to a building.
