This is what they call the central section, or "downtown", of Ingolstadt... It's only one long street full of big stores, some restaurants, travel agencies and other businesses... but it's very nice to stroll along the street and look at the typical buildings, as well as eat a little snack or do some shopping! I personally found wonderful stores and nice deals -- my favorite store in Germany was a boutique called "ORSAY"... great prices and nice clothing! Leave a Comment

The biggest company in Ingolstadt is AUDI and there are plenty of supplying companies in and around Ingolstadt. In December 2000 Audi opened its new AUDI Forum and a car museum. Beside of visiting the Forum it is possible to attend a guided tour through the plant.

We have a lot of Museum's in Ingolstadt. The museum of modern art or the medicinehistorical museum are worth a visit! Just recently, the brand new Audi Museum Mobile opened - absolutely great!
Here you can see the museum of mecial history. It's unique in bavaria (and I think even in Germany) and very interesting to visit. In the summer, you can have a look at the garden, in which there are herbs and spices, used in the history as medicine. Leave a Comment
