We had a super dinner in this Italian place.
We both had octopus carpaccio - delicious. Then I had the fritto misto - mixed fish, comprising sole, squid, prawns (from memory). Dagmar had the prawns in a tomato sauce. I suspect I did better there...
Finally we went for profiteroles and panna cotta respectively. I think she won out that time - it came with a mini fruit salad topped with mango ice cream. Yummee!
Not much alcohol, so I can’t comment on their wines. Next time! I did have a couple of Aperol with white wine.
The atmosphere was warm and the service was faultless. Mind you, I don’t speak any German so I’m making assumptions.
Cost €82. Good value, I’d say.
Favorite Dish: The octopus. Really good. Light, fresh & delicious.

My friend (and local tour guide) Anna took me here for lunch, after 2 hours of sightseeing in 35c temperatures.
Absolutely ideal!
Local cuisine in a local place. Sitting in the beer garden, recovering.
The beer temped me, but in the heat large glasses of mineral water were called for. Boring, but sensible.
The menu was all in German - don't know if they have versions in other languages.
I had a roast pork dish, with potato dumpling (what else) and a lovely wee salad.
Favorite Dish: The pork. Didn't try anything else!

This food there is so excellent!!!
Actually it is not a real restaurant - I usually buy the food for taking it home.
It is cooked by the owner herself - you order and can watch her making it in front of you. It is very fresh and costs almost just half the price you pay in a restaurant. The perfect food supply for an evening with DVD on the sofa.
Favorite Dish: Try chicken sate. - chicken in peanut sauce with a lot of onions and rice of course.
(4,90 €) - huge portions.
You can order in advance via phone and pick it up after 10 - 20 minutes.
Opening hours from Monday till Friday 11 am - 9:30pm.

The restauarnt is part of the Audi Forum Complex. This was what could be described as an upmarket cafeteria. The food was made to order in most cases - chef's cooking to your own specifications.
This particular facility is open:
Monday - Saturday 08.00 - 18.00
Sunday 10.00 - 16.00 (Brunch 10.00 - 14.00)
Favorite Dish: pasta and the ice cream selection.

This was a great place to have a coffee, a cake, something to eat and even some fried eggs for breakfast. It is located next to the Rathaus (old and new) and right beside the tourist information centre.
The staff are friendly and professional.
Favorite Dish: coffee and all that goes with it!

It was an odd choice to eat here, but it was enjoyable and interesting experience. I would highlight that they also seem to have some kind of happy hour - and on this visit they were giving away Absolut Vodka!

This is an excellent place to eat and it has a wonderful menu. The ingredients are are all produced locally and this ensures eveything is fresh. The selection of steaks is wondeful and you can even have a very large T-Bone if you wish!
Favorite Dish: I can highly recommend the soup and peppered steak and a Birne Helene for dessert.

A small restaurant, which is very comfortable. You can order food from all the countries around the Mediterranean Sea. First dish coucous than a spain speciality is no problem and tastes fine. You can go there just foor a beer and reading the newspaper or enjoy your dinner with friends here.
If you are planing to go there with more than 4 people in the evening I would recommend to reserve a table.
Favorite Dish: My favourite dish is patatas with garlic cream. It is a yummy snack.
Have a look at the menues of the day on the black board behind the bar.

The cafe is located across from the public library, which is now housed in the Altes Schloss.
The coffee and pastries were excellent, I had two of each! It was a good place to sit and read my Suddeutscher Zeitung.
