When I am at a scenic place and have such a perfect weather to take photographs, I simply think itb is a waste of time to go to a fancy restaurant and loose a lot of time, while waiting for the waiter, the food, the bill...
Then I prefer such food-stands, especially when they offer self-made and delicous food and I may get it myself at the counter, pay it right away and go on hiking again as soon as possible.
Favorite Dish: Brotzeit-Eck is just a tiny place with a few seats inside and some benches and small tables outside. I had half a litre of Buttermilk and a home-made apple-strudel for a total of just 4 euros. They also have meat-dishes, Leberkaese (meatloaf), Schweinsbraten, several cakes and of course coffee and soft-drinks.

In case that you dont want to waste your time hanging around in a restaurant, but want to go hiking in St.Bartholomae, it might make sense to take a fast snack at the self-service-kiosk of Fischerstueberl. You may eat it there inside or outside at a few tables on the terrace, or you may have it packed for a picknick to take away.
Favorite Dish: Fischerstueberl opens at 11.00a.m. and offers lots of great fish-dishes, the fish was always freshly smoked in the smae morning.
The day I was there they had this on the menu:
a roll with smoked trout 3,00 Euros
smoked trout, bread&butter 5,50 Euros
smoked trout, bread&butter and a glass of wine 7,90 Euros
Fischerstueberl is open mid April till end of October

Koenigssee and its surroundings will make you hungry and there are not a lot of possibilities to have lunch or some coffee or snacks in the afternoon. In St.Bartholomae you will find a large restaurant and a giant beer-garden. At this restaurant you may not only get fishes from Koenigssee but also local game- and traditional bavarian dishes.
Favorite Dish: I had venison-ragout with bread-dumplings and red-cabbage for 10,80 euros, that is quite a good price for such a portion.
Other dishes that I saw at the menu, so you have an idea about prices:
Hackbraten mit Zigeunersauce, Kartoffelpüree 7,60
(Hamburgers with bell-peppersauce and mashed potatoes 7,60)
Weisswurst & Bretzel or roll 4,10 euros
