"Tavern in der Steckengasse" is another event taking place during the Landshuter Hochzeit, and THIS is my favorite, although it is quite expensive :
For 48 Euros entrance-fee you will be able to attend one of the meals that the king was giving for the local population during the whole week after the marriage, and you may eat as much as you can, taste red and white wine or beer and watch artists and musicians as well as some kind of funny performances of strange people, like they may have occured as well during the wedding of 1475.
Performances / Meals are Thursday and Friday at 07.00p.m. !!
48 Euros will include all meals, drinks & performances
Dress Code: Nobody cares for a dresscode of the visitors during any event of the Landshuter Hochzeit.

Festliche Spiele im nächtlichen Lager ( festivities & games at the camp-fire) is another highlight of Landshuter Hochzeit and the historic background to this festivity is the night before the wedding of 1475, when all of the many wedding-guests had finally arrived Landshut - the carriages from Poland had needed about 2 months to arrive in Landshut - and the tired travellers had a first small festivity with a meal at the campfire and some entertainment by local artists and musicians.
The "Festliche Spiele am nächtlichen Lager" takes place
every saturday at 09.00p.m.
The entrance-fee is 20,- or 24,- Euros
Dress Code: NO reason to care for a dresscode for visitors - casual is the best !
