Repeat of the previous day, another downpour and this the closest restaurant. Another lucky day!
Right on the riverbank a large and comfortable hotel restaurant, also has a beer garden for good weather. Food excellent, Mrs Bonio very happy with the vegetarian options and a couple of Paulaner beers to go with it, very enjoyable.

Wandering around the Alstadt we were wondering where to have lunch, when the heavens opened we were just outside this restaurant - chioce made.
Good choices on the menu with several vegetarian options for Mrs Bonio and an old favourite, Leberkäse for me washed down by a couple of good beers.
Enjoyed our visit.

This cafe and backery in the building of "Kronprinz" is my favorite place for breakfast, when-ever I stay in Landshut over night.
Favorite Dish: Caffee Latte Machiato - a strong milk-coffee, a bread with " Obazta " ( a Bavarian speciality made of curd-chees with spices, bell-peppers and camembert ) and another sandwich with a home-made Basilikum-filling. The bread is freshly made every day by themselves and you may choose between a big variety of home-made spreads and watch them preparing the breads according to your order.
The breakfast as is shown on my picture was 8 Euros, not really a bargain, BUT really tasty and great !!

Under the arcades of Heiliggeistkirche you may see a fast food-stand in "medieval style" during "Landshuter Hochzeit" When you enlarge my picture you may see a bit of the wooden fence around this "restaurant" where ONLY the participants of the "Landshuter Hochzeit" may taste the food and drinks. It is of course possible to watch them and chat with them at the fence.
Favorite Dish: They have unfiltered beer, like it is available also at other restaurants in Landshut and they are roasting their meat at the open fire like in the old times of 1475.
