Mespelbrunn Travel Guide

Thank you Globetrott for your page on Mespelbrunn!! Without your recommendation we may have driven past and not checked out this place!

If you are reading this and planning your road trip through Germany, then I would totally recommend that you stay the night in Mespelbrunn and go for a wander to see the Cute Castle on a Pond in the middle of the forrest :o)

We had dinner in the dining room of Hotel Zum Engel and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

The food was yummy and the service excellant! I would totally recommend to eat here.

Ok this is an unusual tip from an Aussie. Why would you want to walk around in freezing cold spring water early in the morning? ......Give me a hot shower any day haha :o)

But that is excatly what Hubby and Birgit did early in the morning before we went Castle viewing. Aparently it is good to get the circulation going. I thought that the walk to the Castle would do the same thing haha.

So I opted out, thanks.
