Favorite thing: This photo was taken while we went on a hike to the bridge (Marienbrucke) nearby...
There are some amazing views on that walk and I would recommend it to anyone!! :) The bridge is very high though so it can be scary for people with a fear of heights.

Favorite thing:
Neuschwanstein is one of the very top destinations of Bavaria and even Europe.
The castle was built by king Ludwig II of Bavaria, and shortly after it was finished, the kind died under strange circumstances.
He spent just 9 days inside the castle, that was opened to the public already a few days after his death, as the state of Bavaria needed a lot of money to pay for the castles of King Ludwig.
There are a lot more pics and infos on my Neuschwanstein-page !

Favorite thing: The magical Castle Neuschwanstein...definiately a must see!!!! :) I have always wanted to see it, ever since I first saw a photo of it many years ago. Of all the places in Europe, this was the one place I wanted to go most...I am so glad I finally got there. :)

Favorite thing: Make a day trip to Fussen and then visit the Neuschwanstein Castle... Make sure you go on a tour inside, it's fantastic! We caught a horse and cart up to the top of the mountain rather than walking, it was a nice trip up, and then after our tour we walked around one of the hiking tracks near by.
