Favorite thing: There is a huge and very cheap Internet-shop right at the main station - you pay DM 2,- and surf between 20 minutes and 5 houres. You can also save your unused time for later. Its name is Easy Everything

The state is richly endowed with extensive parks such as Schönbusch Park in Aschaffenburg, the Hofgarten in Ansbach and the English Garden in Munich
Favorite thing: Pick up this free map and guide to Munich at the info desk of the airport. I did not see it anywhere else and it was very helpful.
Favorite thing: Maximilian is the place to go in Munich for expensive shopping, if you continue down here you will cross the Isar river and you will see the peace angel above a nice fountain.
