Kunstpark Ost: A huge nightclub/bar complex
Kunstpark Ost is an old factory ground that now contains over 30 nightclubs and bars a few blocks away from the Ostbahnhof station. Kunstpark Ost has a place for everyone. If you like techno or trance or Russian pop or reggae---well, you catch my drift. They have a place for you.
You pay cover for each bar you enter and get your hand stamped in case you want to come back later that night.
A word of warning though...show up later than you might think. We left Kunstpark Ost at 1am and the party was just getting started.
Dress Code: Each place may have different requirements, but we saw people dressed in all different ways.
Kunstpark Ost: Several clubs at the same place, for each taste !
Great place where you can dance on all kinds of music depending on your taste or your mood. I was there on the reopening day and I only paid 5 € entrance to get access to everything. So I tried a few different clubs such as Mogador (oriental), Black raven (hardcore heavy metal), Garage De luxe (rock), Nachtkantine (to eat something in the middle of the night, cool place) and others whose names I forgot. I had a great time there anyway.
Kunstpark Ost: Milch bar sucks
We hear this place mayb be OK, but dont even bother if you are American or dont speak German or of the Jewish persuasion. The doormen are racists and hate Americans (especially Jews) and wont let you in if you dont speak to them in German. They will FORCEFULLY throw you away from the entrance so dont even bother. This is despite having German friends to petition for us on our behalf. The German firends got in (and promptly left) but we didnt
Kunstpark Ost: Everything possible
:-))) Oh! You can't miss Kunstpark Ost: it's a place with several locals such as discos with different kind of music and pubs and so on....Matador has the best music...well, at least it's my opinion!!
Munich bars and discos
Before you go to Munich, visit www.kunstpark.de. It talks about Kunstpark, the best club scene around. Kunstpark is an old industrial site that was converted into about 20 clubs and bars in 1996. It sees 300,000 visitors every month, making it the largest in Germany and in all of Europe. Downtown Munich has little or no bars or clubs where college age people go to have fun, to be seen, or whatever. Though some may not like what I write, I´m just trying to give advice for people like me: maximize partying, fun, and meeting people my age. During the evenings go to all the different Bräuhauses, beer halls, in Marienplatz, and don´t miss out on going to the Hofbräuhaus.
Dress Code: At Kunstpark dress to impress, or you might not get in to some of the clubs there.
Kunstpark Ost: Kunstpark Ost
You have to go here if you like nighlife! There are a lot of clubs, bars, restaurants and more at one location. It is an old industrial area where all the clubs opened in the old factory buildings. My favouite clubs are 'Natraj Temple' (Trance) and 'Keller' (Independent). If you are unlucky and can not be in Munich while the famous 'Oktoberfest' is going on, you might check the atmosphere and go to the all-year-round Oktoberfest-place: 'Wies'n world'
Dress Code: Anything, depends on where you are going.
Good music, good people, good drinks, but it is always very densely populated. I never go there before 3 a.m. If the doormen don't know you, they might not let you in.
Dress Code: Casual but stylish. Wear what you like as long as it looks nice! Sneakers welcome.
very good party every last...
very good party every last friday of the month:
Coyote Ugly Club (Raum Rot at Kunstpark Ost)
Very cool people!
Real good party with the best bargirls ever, giving Wodka for free several times a night!
Dress Code: No special dress code needed as far as I know
Kunstpark Ost: Kunstpark Ost
Plenty of availability, not too much queing, good atmosphere. The place is not necessary as hip and cool as the rest, but it is so simple, no need to dress with expensive clothes etc.
Dress Code: However you dress, you can find a place here.
Kunst Park Ost (literally...
Kunst Park Ost (literally means 'Art Park East' but don't be fooled -- Munich has a very active club scene. Ask around. Clubs can be hard to find but locals in their 20s will usually know. Note: while Germans are somewhat conservative don't be shocked at tops coming off or other nudity during Oktoberfest (last week in September, first week in October).
Natraj is unique to me because it is the only club in Munich that plays only Goa. There are sometimes possibilitys to dance to Goa somwhere else,... but you always can rely on the Natraj,... the only 'pure' Goa-club in Germany. The club is open till at least 10 a.m. I remember Parties when I left at 4 p.m. This is no after-hour-club
Dress Code: Dress as you like. Dont wear a tie.

This is a huge complex of clubs and bars and most of Munichs nightlife is centred here - there are often live bands and groups at Babylon and ther are sometimes movies being shown on the open air screen. My favourite places there are Babylon which is a gigantic club with a cheesy room and a dance room, Titty twister - a south American, Tarantino themed bar, The Bongo Bar - a mad place where transvestites dance on tables with pineapples on their heads and the Milk bar - a lsightly more trendy place where entrance is sometimes refused iof you don#t look right.
Dress Code: Most of the places have little or no dress code. If you travel by train wear layors as it is excruciatingly hot in the clubs but pretty chilly at 4 am waiting a t a train station.
I would not recommend high heels as the area between the clubs is very unevenly paved and it would be easy to twist an ankle.
there are sooooooooo many.If...
there are sooooooooo many.
If you go to Munich you have to visit KuntzPark Ost.
An old airport that has been turned into about 40 niteclubs!! The atmosphere is amazing... the Germans really go all out when it comes to clubbing.
Dress Code: Anything at all for most places. Although some places are a bit more strict.
The Milch Bar (at 8am on a Sunday morning normally) it can be quite hard to get in. You have to look reasonably sane/sober etc to get in.
Kunstpark Ost: Clubbing of a third kind!
We communicated to some germans "Wo ist der Party???" lol
She said come with us! they were really friendly, and led us to the party area. we wandered outside for like an hour looking for some bar they like called 'milk'. And once we found it, the wacked out bouncer wouldnt let us in because of one person in our group. Blast! Shiza!
Dont despair though, if the germans-only club doesnt let you in, there are numerous other clubs within pacing distance who will let you in.
So, we went into a great bar first, that was packed! had fun with the germans. good times. 3.50 euro for a heiniken. not bad!
Second, a really cool hip hop bar. Excellent! Loud music all over!
A good tip: go to ostbahnhof where nightclubbing is easy. dont bother looking through the city
Dress Code: depends which club you enter, but i would say no baseball caps, basketball or hip hop style. germans dont like that, unless its hiphop night of course. ORDERORDERORDER lol
The best for young people...
The best for young people 18-25 is the Kunstpark Ost. It offers 41 locations all with a different atmosphere. Also good (even for the 25-40 age group) is the area in and around Münchner Freiheit. Here one can find bars, restaurants, cafés and pubs.
Kunstpark Ost is an old potatoe processing factory ('Pfannigelände'). Very large in size and the production halls and storage halls, now concerted into various outlets, offer a very distinct surrounding. The best location has to be Heavens Gate, the largest indoor climbing hall in Europe (30 m!).
Dress Code: Anything goes.
