It's small, but it makes for a pleasant way to cut through to the other side. With sloping paths, and lots of boulders, trees, a turns, the Finanzgarten hides one of the more interesting memorials/tributes I've seen.
We encountered this crypt-like tribute to Heinrich Heine on our way out of the Finanzgarten. It's behind a locked gate, but it is definitely an interesting piece of art. It's on the edge of the garden, just off a path. Look for it! Leave a Comment

 An expensive bedroom! by volarevolare
The castle is quaint and orpulent in its lavishness. Amazing artwork and richness in the decorations.
This was Ludwig's favourite palace and I can see why -- it's really magical and there's the lovely gardens outside!
I enjoyed this day trip to the schloss!
