Altes Rathaus - Old Town Hall, Munich

The old Town Hall was origially built in 15th century, then reconstructed after the fire and war damages.
Now it houses the toy museum - Spielzeugmuseum.

Altes Rathaus (Old City Hall), with its plain Gothic tower, is to the right of Marienplatz.
It was reconstructed in the 15th century, after being destroyed by fire.

Prague may be the city of 100 spires, but Munich would also be worthy of such distinction. The pointy Old Town Hall is another structure that was destroyed completely, then rebuilt.

Most easterly building on Marienplatz square, at the heart of Munich. Gothic council hall and ballroom and the adjoining town hall tower have been reconstructed.

This beautiful building, in Marienplatz, is now the toys museum.

Alte Rathaus (Old Town Hall) was built in 1470. It was almost totally destroyed in 1944. The inner room is described as 'the most perfect Gothic room' and was extensively rebuilt.
