Imposing church. You can climb one of the towers if you arrive at the right time. You may also go down into the crypt, which is a bit creepy, as it seems to be lit only by candles. Huge stained glass windows decorate both side of the church. Very impressive

    Church of Our Lady (Frauenkirche)
This 15th Century Cathedral towers above the city streets with its two onion shaped towers. The inside is rather simply, however don't miss this on a trip to Munich as it stands as one of Munich's best known.

You must climb to the top of the twin church towers. Dom Zu Unserer Lieben Frau, (Church of Our Lady).
Great views of the city from the top.

Cost me 4dm, about 1.8 Euros.

It is Munich's Cathedral. Very popular here. The new Pope (Benedicto XVI) was Archibishop in this church.

    The massive looking Frauenirche

Standing under these massive bell towers dwarfs everything about you. The whole structure is made of red bricks.

The Frauenkirche is a symbol of Munich. A very unique structure with two towers and green tops. A must see and a great photograph spot.
