This large Cathederal, was very badly damages by bombing during the Second World War.
It has been rebuilt, however most of the original has been lost.
Where possible the original sections wtich survived have been fitted in with the rather plain rebuilt parts.
the twin towers are a famous landmark of Munich and could nearly be seen as a symbol of the City.

A must see for travellers to Munich...the Frauenkirche is a beautiful church, with observation towers that reaches high up...built in the 15th century, it is something to behold...Go up the towers to get a brilliant view of the old city and beyond.

The Frauenkirche is a symbol of Munich. A very unique structure with two towers and green tops. A must see and a great photograph spot.

It is Munich's Cathedral. Very popular here. The new Pope (Benedicto XVI) was Archibishop in this church.

You must climb to the top of the twin church towers. Dom Zu Unserer Lieben Frau, (Church of Our Lady).
Great views of the city from the top.

Cost me 4dm, about 1.8 Euros.

These towers are the Munich's symbol!!
The right name of this church is 'Cathedral Church of Our Lady' and it's located in Frauenplatz.

The tower of the Frauenkirche in the city centre marks the centre point of the city. I would recommend people to go up the tower to take a panoramic view of the city.
