Munich's nightlife

by Henkster

Of course nightlife takes place in the bigger cities everywhere, but Munich has one of the most vibrant nightlives in the whole country. Especially in the party areas around Kunstpark Ost and Schwabing, people party until the morning. Recently I have read that Munich has from all German cities, besides Berlin, the most international concerts in town, ranging from classical to Pop/Rock and any other imaginable musical style.Classical music is also very big in Munich - you will something for each taste, sometimes you will need to bring quite a lot of money, but Munich is certainly the greatest place to go out at night in Bavaria.

the Elefantentreffen Arena: Elefantentreffen Nighttime Serenades

by marco2005

well... you have spent a full day with your bike up and down the snow hill.when the sun goes down it's time to relax... Go down to the Arena, where are the only rest huts which can offer you something to drink and eat.Have a beer (or two) with your new friends, and show to the rest of the world what a fine singer you are.Do not miss it!Like a big magnet, this site will soon or later attract every single biker of the Elefantentreffen. boots are mandatory (you can leave all other garments in the tent, if you dare)

Bars: Night Activities

by Alicja1

Unfortunately most of the restaurant in the old centre are closed at 10 pm. You can find just few of them serving clients until 1am. Discos are open util late. Depence from the place. Mostly its casual dressing allowed.

Other Bavarian cities

by Henkster

The other big Bavarian cities, like Nýrnberg, Augsburg, Regensburg, etc. all have great nightlife spots as well - you will probably not meet as many celebreties or "hot" people there - but they are usually less expensive than the ones in Munich.

Ludwig II - a musical in Fuessen: Meet "mad" king Ludwig II

by globetrott

When you are in the area around Fuessen and the famous castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, you will see the signs and advertisments for that musical at many places.A special theatre was built for the musical, and when you drive through the centre of Fuessen, plenty of signs will lead you directely to the theatre. NO special dress-code, as mostly the tourists will go for that show, and it would be a pity for anyone, willing to spend the ,money, but not beeing dressed propperly...

Gasthof Zur Taube: small village nightlife....

by richiecdisc

This was the place I stopped in to have Lindenbrau's tasty vollbier in Graffenberg. I wanted to go to the brewery and mistook this place for it. It was nonetheless a friendly locals' pub and I'm sure a place for a nice game of cards or nightly chatter over the local brew.
