Zeit und Raum | Die Rote Bar: Bar and Cafe
Zeit & Raum | Die Rote Bar
This is a restaurant close to the city centre with a nice atmosphere. I have not eaten there, yet. In the restaurant part I once had to wait that long just for a drink that I left before it was served. But it is crowded all the time - so people love it in general. I was in the "Rote Bar" (Red Bar") that is just connected with the restaurant. It is pretty stylish. The prices rather are little higher than the average in Nuremberg. But they serve good cocktails. So I would recommend it for a good start in the evening with nice atmosphere - and for a nice beer check another better prized place...

This is a bar and dinner place, maybe more like a bar, maybe more like a dinner. But for sure is nice to have at least a beer there. It is full with young people who are chatting and chilling out.

Music club and disco: Der Hirsch (the deer)
"Der Hirsch" is a nightlife club and bar where they have parties and also concerts . The name means "deer" and is also part of the design concept when the club was remodeled in 2004. For bringing back the deer into the forest mainly wooden materials were used, walls are in green and and brown color, and forest motives are used in design.
> I was just there in person and visited a concert. It is not that cool as it looks on their website, and the concert hall is just a concert venue like many others... So with a little shabby flair. But this many concert locations have, don't they?
Still a good place for concerts. They sometimes have very good bands playing there.
It is in the quarter "Gibitzenhof", South Nuremberg, take tram 4 to Gibitzenhof till station "Dianaplatz".

A great little Irish/English pub in the heart of the Nurnberg Old Town. It's an authentic traditional Irish pub located on one of the most beautiful medieval streets in the city; housed in a four story 12th century building, next to Club Sixteen; it encompassed the first two floors and basement. Decorated with old timber, uneven stairs, and rough stone walls - it brings the charm of Ireland into Germany. Great whiskey and cottage pie. I've heard good things about the fish n' chips and the beer as well. Staff was great. Rating: 5 stars out of 5.

A pretty happening bar in the old town district where cocktail specials are abundant during their late happy hour and some quite tasty concoctions. My favorite was "the swimming pool". The waittresses were charming and very helpful, friendly, and good service. Around 10 or 11 they start Karaoke in the back which got quite crowded, and I'm not sure it was just our gang. Good times. Rating: 4 stars out of 5.

Irish Castle Pub: Great Fun and Friendly Service
I was in Nurnberg for an exhibition. I stayed there 5 nights and 6 days. I found the castle in my first night and went there in the rest 4 nights too. Great service, good music, and normal prices. What can a social drinker want more?
The only bad thing is; it is so popular that you can not find a place to sit if you go after 22:00 o clock.
Like there and if I will go Nürnberg again now you know where to find me in the night.

Bar Blau: Bar
"Blue Bar" really is a hip place, which is combinated with the biergarten of "Kettensteg", a traditional Nürnberg location. The bar is in the lower part of the beergarden and for sure is one of the trendiest location in Nürnberg to get delicious cocktails while listening to great music.
