The street that runs close to the Germanisches Nationalmuseum is called "the way of Human Rights". This particular monument, realized by Israeli artist Dani Karavan, consists of a gate and two rows of columns: every column has a quotation from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, written in German and in the language of a people who suffered. The street is owned by the museum.
