    A German Poem

Wie nenn ich dich? Sieh, meine Lippen lahmen.

    -R. Rilke

    Skiflying-Arena (Heini-Klopfer-Schanze)

    Skiflying Oberstdorf in 2008

A little off of Oberstdorf in a side valley you will find the Skiflying arena. In case you are impressed by the Skijump-Arena which is located directly in Oberstdorf (Jump length up to 130 meters), you will not believe it when you see the Skiflying-Arena. The length of the jumps are up to 223 meters (current record). The Arena is worth to be visited the year round as it is in any case a remarkable sight!

Direction: Just south of the Freibergsee (200 meters) in teh Stillach Valley. On the weblink it is the grey thing in the middle of the view. I will try to find a better explanation for the direction, but it is not hard to miss.

Verflossen ist das Gold der Tage,
Des Abends braun und blaue Farben:
    Des Hirten sanfte Floeten starben
Des Abends blau und braune Farben
Verflossen ist das Gold der Tage
