    I was one day in Passau..with me three girlfriends ..We come from Holland with the train..and there in Passau where ours bycycles and we make a tour from 7 days to Vienna..Great to do!But i must back to Passau there is so much to see!!Great place!!

    Seeing the long, white river cruise boats moored along the quays for a day with their Swiss and Austrian flags makes you want to hop on one there and then and just continue your journey around Europe's waterways :))) Since there is neither time nor money for this (maybe one day), pick a guided tour of Passau instead. On equally slim boats, you get to go on a 40 minute tour (until early November) and see Passau from both the main rivers. This gives good photo opportunities (in good weather...) as well as teaches you things, although our autumnal trip was in German only. In summer, there are two hour cruises to Linz in Austria on offer, and sometimes also short breaks to Vienna.

    Passau is situated at the confluence of the Danube, Inn and Ilz rivers. It is an ideal starting point for trips by ship to Linz oor Ratisbon (Regensburg). Or just to have a round trip to explore Passau.

    One of the loveliest, romatic, peaceful things we did in Passau, was after supper one night we just walked and wandered through the old town.
    Everything looks so different at night and there is an completely different atmosphere and look about the town.
    It is a definate must for everyone to do and you dont have to worry about not feeling safe since everyone else seems to be out as well.

    Passau is a great walking city, I really enjoyed the atmosphere , the cobbled streets and the architecture here. Passau is called the Dreiflüssestadt , which means "city on 3 rivers.
