The town hall by the Danube is pretty with its Gothic style and its hall which you can visit during the summer half of the year. It is also here that you find the flood marks (see Warnings).

High up on the Inn side of town lies this pretty Baroque church. The amazing thing about it is its long, covered staircase which you can see in the picture. There are great town views from here.

We never went here, but on the Inn side of town, you find a museum full of things from the roman period in Passau, including excavations of their fort.

I liked to stroll through the narrow streets of Passau. Unfortunately, all shops were closed from 12am to 2pm.
