Bamberg is a wonderful town. During the visit of the town you can't lose to see:- The Dom: one of the most beautiful cathedral of Bavaria made by Henry II the Saint;- The fantastic Residenz with the wonderful Imperial hall and the State Apartments;- The Rathaus: a great example of Baroque architecture built in the middle of the Regnitz river;- Michaelsberg with the great fresco of the flowers;- Obere Pfarrkirche: a wonderful Gothic Church;- wonderful houses and churches located all around the town.From 1993 the town is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.More information on my Bamberg page.

The wonderful Schloss Weißenstein is located in the idyllic town of Pommersfelden.I was very surprise to discover how wonderful is this castle. The visit of its rooms is allowed only with a tour guide. It is two hours long but you can learn more about the history of the castle, of the fornitures, of the rooms and of the paintings.More information on my Pommersfelden page.

Ochsenfurt is a very nice small town 13 miles south from Würzburg.The town has got an interestig medieval heart with the nice red Rathaus and two interesting churches: Stadtpfarrkirche St. Andreas and Michaelskapelle.More information on my Ochsenfurt page.

The small village of Wemding is located just 15 Km east of Nordlingen. In the village you can breath a medieval atmosphere. There you can find the old walls, the nice Emmerams Kirche and many Medieval houses. More information on my Wemding page.

The castle is built on a hill over the Wormitz river and the town of Harburg. The castle was made by the Hohenstaufen family before 1150. Inside the boundaries of the castle you can see the original structure of a medieval castle around the main courtyard.Mofe information on my Harburg page.

The small village of Werneck is situated along the Wern river. Here you can find a castle built in 1733-34 by the architect Balthasar Neumann.More information on my Werneck page.

The town of Memmingen is located about 100 Km west of Munich, on the border with the Baden Wurttember Region. The Medieval town is very interesting with the nice Rathaus, Siebendacherhaus and the Martinskirche with frescos and the fantastic stalemates of the presbytery made from some artisans of Memmingen.More information on my Memmingen page.

The small village of Staingaden is located along the Romantische Strasse, just few Km from the Wieskirche. The village has got a very nice Romanesque church with a wonderful Baroque interior.More information on my Steingaden page.

The town of Fussen is very nice and it is situated in a beautiful zone to few kilometers from the famous castles of Ludwig (Linderhof, Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau). To my opinion the city deserves a visit because it has some interesting testimonies of its past as summer residence of the bishops of Augsburg like the beautiful castle and the houses to its feet.More informations on my Fussen page.
