Bayern Ticket

by richiecdisc

The Bayern ticket offers unlimited travel on regional trains anywhere in Bavaria for one full day for up to five people, all for 21 Euros. It's a great deal and gives your driver a break so she can have a beer too!

The Lupetto goes everywhere....

by richiecdisc

A car comes in very handy in traveling around Bavaria, especially in getting to all the small villages that I love to see up close. The distances are not so great and we didn't drive more than three hours to get from any one place to the next and mostly, the times were much shorter than that. Thanks to D for the great job in driving and to Lupetto for getting us to all the places with no breakdowns.

TAXIThe site of the Elefantentreffen may be very crowded. So in the rush hour you can have some trouble to find a taxi.In the pic you see one lucky man who got it.

We rented a little car to take us on our journy around Bavaria. The cost was arounf 45$ a day and it was alot of fun. Ask for the upgrade with Avis to the A-class.
