The restaurant was named after the first Mexican born baseball player to play in Major League Baseball.
The menu card is full of funny information and jokes, for example:
"Q: What's the difference between mashed potatoes and pea soup?
A: Everybody can mash potatoes..."

This is the town hall of W?rzburg. It looks lovely. I put it into the restaurant tip section, because there is a restaurant in the basement. During the warm season it is also possible to sit on a terrace in front of the town hall. Very nice!
Favorite Dish: I had a coffee here and it tasted very well. They also have some good pastries, but I didn´t try them because I had a delicious meal in Tauberretsheim some time before.

If you have read my introductory page, you already know that one of my great joys in life is to sit in a beergarden at a castle or monestary after having toured the grounds. This place was the first of what I hope is many such interludes.
Favorite Dish: Beer, of course!

Rainbow! It's a Thai place. The have GREAT food.
Here's other great places to eat in Wü:
China Town (a little difficult to find);
Joe Peña's (tex-mex) west end of promenade;
Chelsea's (typical American, it's part of a US chain);
Auflauf (means casserole, Hungarian);
Luisen Garten (Greek, near Rainbow on same street);
Joey's Pizza (delivery or pickup at Berliner ring);
Cafè de Journal (good breakfast, on the promenade);
and of course all sorts of chain places like Burger King, McDonalds, Pizza Hut, and a place the used to be called OutBack steakhouse, but changed the name... they kept the OutBack menu though... good food.
Not too expensive
Favorite Dish: Sweet & Sour chicken

In Wurzburg: We ate dinner at two nice restaurants that I would recommend: Wurzburger Ratskeller at Langgasse 1 and especially Zum Stachel at Gressengasse 1 where we had a wonderful meal outdoors on a romantic patio.

If you're looking for a popular place to eat a Doner in Wurzburg while sitting down, then head over to Schlemmer Eck. It's my favorite place to grab a great bite to eat in Wurzburg. It's really cozy, lots of people in a small place, and you can watch them cook everything.
Great atmosphere, steaming hot from the Doner cookers, just cool eats in Wurzburg.
Favorite Dish: Doner spezial! Oohhh, it's good. Lamb, kraut, tomato, goat cheese, it can't be beaten!!
