Great, inexpensive wines!
It took awhile within the large Burgerspital complex (about a block long on Theatrestrasse) to figure out where to buy their wine. We finally found it and it was well worth it. We bought 4 --2 to drink while on vacation, and 1 each to bring back through customs.
A very nice gentleman let us try about 8 different varieties (all white). We were the only ones there. Though he said he only spoke a little English, we found him very funny and knowledgable about wines!
Oh, and the wine comes in really cool bottles that look kind of like big flasks.
What to pay: They have good bottles from 6 Euros, and really good bottles for about 11 Euros.
