lobstop Says: The Gänskopfhut is operated by the "Fichtelgebirgsverein". You should call there before you arrive, because the opening hours depend on the mood of the owner... ;-)
The Seehaus: Local food on the mountain!
lobstop Says: Wandering from the Fichtelsee to the Schneeberg you pass by the Seehaus which is a very nice hut on the mountain. In winter it is a favorite spot for locals, who take a bobslide with them and coast down to the parking lot after a couple of drinks.
