Favorite Dish: When in Bremen, you must try the rollos! They are something between a burrito and a lahmacun (turkish pizza). My favorite place to get one is Piano on Ostertorsteinweg. I make it a point to go there and order a rollo any time I am in Bremen. Guten appetit!
Restaurant Katzencafe is hidden between very small alleys, yet very busy. A restaurant and a big covered terrace. There are 180 seatings.
Favorite Dish: We had a pot of tea and coffee (3.40 euro each) and a cappuccino (2,10 euro).
This place was recommended in our travel guide, as it was the only Hausbrauerei in Bremen. The Schuttinger is lovely inside though I wasn't too impressed by their beer. The food was good and the portions are surprisingly large. What we thought would be snacks turned out to be a huge plate of chips...
The Restaurant "Aioli" is located in one of Bremens greatest old town streets - The Schnoor. Here in the historic center of town with all the cute little houses and narrow alleys you find souvnier shops, galleries, restaurants and amont the latter also the Aioli(incl. the smalles hotel in the world). The historic atmosphere inside is mixed with very modern element in a very tasteful combination. Food is Mediterranean and German and of good quality. It is not a cheap place but not expensive either. For me a great place, not only for tourists! Guten Appetit!
The food is fantastic, the atmosphere elegant and modern. Family owned and operated by brothers from Catania, Sicily. German and Italian are spoken, and the food is traditional and delicioso!
Favorite Dish: I eat them all, love them all and prefer something seasonal. Try the homemade Gelaato the speciality of Gaetano.
A lively place and very crowded on weekend nights especially during their happy hour from 7pm to 8pm (Cocktails). They have a second happy hour for margartitas later the night (11pm?). It´s a good place to start your night.
Favorite Dish: Cocktails of all kind, Nachos,...
It´s more expensive than sushi-bars in the States but it´s almost the only place here in Bremen where you can get japanese food. It´s worth it.
Favorite Dish: Anything you want as long as it´s sushi or any other japanese dish.
Very nice basement restaurant which looks more like a nightclub than like a restaurant. Very good value, prices are low - especially for a place in the Schnoor!
Favorite Dish: Tagliatelle della Sabina (!). With chicken and peppers in red pepper sauce - very tasty! The Bruschetta is nice to start with!
When on a tight budget, McDonald's have great coffee & hot chocolate. We also ordered some french fries just to see us over.
Once we did the little train, we were frozen and decided to pop in here for cake and hot chocolate. Fantastic!
Friendly and comfortable city centre pub with good food and drink all at a reasonable price, that says it all really, enjoyed our evening here.
