Each year in September the local radio station organises a great festival. You can see about 9 different bands in different locations which are the Daimler Chrysler plant in Rastatt, Theater in Baden-Baden and a recording studio of Südwestrundfunk in Baden-Baden. This year the festival it takes place from 21-23 September 2006

All the concerts I visited by now took place in Rastatt. And it was impressing since besides the stage you could see the production line and how the cars are produced.

This year perform beside others the following bands Scissor Sisters, James Morrison, Paolo Nutini, Nerina Pallot ....

The festival alway takes place from Thursday to Saturday.

On Friday and Saturday the SWR3 New Pop Party-Night take also place and the city turns in a big party area. For an entrance fee of 6.50 EUR you can dance and chill out in different locations (In 2003 it took place in: Augusta-Parkgarage, Bisto Amadeus, Leo's, In der Trinkhalle, Wallstreet, Max's, Le Bistro and Bombay Room)

For closer information please see the homepage. Unfortunatly it is only in German.

Concerts, opera, ballet, musical ... Want to hear and see the stars of classical music and theater? They all come here sooner or later.

Baden-Baden's Festspielhaus is one of the most upscale concert and festival halls in the whole of Germany. Expect ticket prices to be just as upscale. Book tickets well in advance.

Dress Code: Dress up.
Men: jacket and tie, better suit and tie. Women appropriate. You cannot be overdressed here.

Once a year a nice party takes place in front of the Kurhaus and Casino. Several stands are erected where you can drink a glass of beer, wine or champagne or you can eat a fried sausage, seafood or salads.
The musical program offers classic, rock and pop.
This year it takes place from 1 to 3 July 2005
Free entrance!

What I like more about these kind of events is that they're planned early in the evening...cause when u get out u can enjoy the rest of the night without being completely tired...anyhow, now for classical music fan:
people playing were from BBC Philarmonic Orchestra, conducted by Mr. Tortelier with Mr. Thibaudet playing the piano; music from Debussy, Chopin & Sibelius.

Dress Code: Elegant without overestimation please.

Nice discoteque with three different bars. The DJ plays a good mix of Dance, House, RNB and sometimes hits of the 70 and 80.

I like this place espescially because there are not only teenagers.
