This decorative facade was the palace of BAron of Adelmann in 1688. It was modified and restored in 1782 by his Court of the time. Sine 1991 it is the town art center. It is open for tours, but time slots are limited to certain periods?

This dates back to about 1355 for its first documented history. The hospital was operated by the CAtholics for centuries, and in 1400's it became an aged facility for old folk. The nuns took over and again operated it as a hospital in 1892, until it closed in 1989. After that it became the town hall

The palace was first built and occupied by abbots of the Monastery. The first know record of the palace was 1266, it was before a Medieval fortress. The abbots converted it into a four winged Renaissance style between 1603-08; then in 1720-28 it was remodeled into Baroque style. The palace was once the residence of princes. When the rulers waned in 19th century it changed to be an agricultural college, and finally a museum.
The museum is open 2-5PM Tuesday-Friday and Saturday 10-12 and then again 2-5PM. Fee is 2,50 Euro
