In Germany, the World Cup piste at Feldberg is the best run for experienced skiers outside the Alps. You will not find an equally long and challenging run in any of the other mountain ranges like the Sauerland, Harz, Bavarian Forest etc.

Grafenmatt, which is part of the Feldberg ski area, is the easier part with lots of gentle slopes. It is very suitable for beginners. To get to the Seebuck area, you have to cross the road. The mountain station of the Seebuck chair lift is visible in the upper part of the first picture. In the upper left corner of the first picture, the top of the Feldberg is clearly visible (with tower). The second picture shows the Grafenmatt area from the lower part of the connection run from the Seebuck.

The Seebuck is the highest peak in the Feldberg skiing area. Its slopes are wide and not very steep, although real beginners may have difficulties.
Towards the end of the season (late March or sometimes early April), only this chair lift may be open!
