Here you go the schloss of Herrenberg. I didn't get in.. it was raining hard.. we were not in a castle mood.. maybe next time in summer... :)

Address: right off from the market square
Herrenberg is a small town, thus easily explorable by foot. The Old Town makes out most of the town centre and is really beautiful. Dozens of timber-framed houses, narrow lanes, the busy market square... you'll feel as though being 300 years back in time. On many houses, you'll find plaques which provide interesting details about their history.
When in Herrenberg, you shouldn't miss climbing up the hill behind the Old Town to visit the church up there, and further on the remains of the castle. From the hill, you've got a marvellous view over the area.

Eltje led me to the oldest house in town... with its well kept facade, the house doesn't look like SO old.. :)

Herrenberg is the place I used to be born. Because there were no hospitals in Nagold, we had to go to Herrenberg. UNDER CONSTRUCTION
