This museum displays exhibitions about botany, entomology, geo-sciences and zoology. A special attraction is the vivarium where you can see fish, amphibians, reptiles and lower animals in terrariums and aquariums.
The building was constructed for the natural-history collection in 1866 to 1872. In WW2 it was destroyed by bombs and valuable collections were lost.
