This classical building is a very important institution, because they produce money - to be correct: only coins.
The building was constructed by Karlsruhes famous son architect Friedrich Weinbrenner in 1826 to 1827.
For obvious reasons you cannot simply go in and visit it unless you have an invitation for a guided tour.
