It towers over the town :)
It was first used as a lookout. Now they have small social gatherings up on the hill where this tower sits. It does give an impressive view of the old part of the city!
Side note: there's a sign next to the door of the tower that says you can obtain the key to the tower from the town hall and go up to the top. It was Sunday, so we didn't try that, but I imagine it's nice. I didn't read how tall the tower is, but at a glance it looks to be about 50 meters or so -- rough guess! :)

The Minster of the Holy Cross church is built over a pre-existing church from 1270. It's one of 3 or 4 old churches in the town center, but I found this one the most impressive.
