We saw a number of birds on the lawns of the gardens – geese, peacocks, ducks, and other feathered friends. These birds were obviously used to people looking at them and didn’t seem to mind people around them, taking their pictures, or just watching them. It is still a good idea to remember that these are animals and one should not get too close or allow their children to get too close. At one point, we saw a family of some sort of goose and the father was a bit protective of the baby. And, while the peacock was willing to strut his stuff and show off his gorgeous feathers, I would not get too close since he was calling rather loudly – I’m not sure, but I think he was bothered by the threesome that was trying to get too close for photos.
Enjoy the birds, but allow them to live in peace. You are guests in their home.
Before entering the mosque garden, you hva to pass that sculpture! But don't worry, it's a nice friend!
