Bergsee Restaurant am Titisee: Pretty good, nice view
There are a number of restaurants and cafes, both on the water and on the main street leading towards it. We chose to eat here, partly because of availability and partly because of the view. By the time we reached the lake, many restaurants were full, but the Bergsee has lots of seating available.
The restaurant has a very large menu.
Favorite Dish: I had the daily special of roast pork, spatzle and salad and Chris had the jagerschnitzel and spatzle. We both enjoyed our meals. The spatzle in particular was quite good and tasted homemade.
The only downside was that it took unusually long for us to be served. On the other hand, this gave us ample opportunity to people watch and drink a couple radlers.

After a walk around the lake, there is a shady beergarden in the town centre. Looks like it's run by the imbis closeby as food should be fetched from there. Beer is served at your table. Good takeaway food and cool beer, ideal place for lunch.
Having great difficulty choosing where to have our evening meal. All the places we looked at were tempting, chose to eat here because of the outside terrace, upstairs overlooking the main street, good for people watching on a warm evening.
Anyway, we both chose pizza with a tomato salad. Be warned portions are huge! as well as very tasty - it took some effort to finish them - did of course!
So, good setting, friendly, tasty food and plenty of it and at a good price - recommended.
