This is my sole tip because we did not stay very long. My advice is first of all, if you plan to do a car trip through the Black Forrest as we did....do not miss Lake Titisee. And make more time for your stop there. When visiting Lake Titisee, make sure you go for a stroll along the foreshore perhaps in the early morning or late afternoon when the...more
Located high in the Black Forest Titisee is a haven for winter sports fans. Cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, tobogganing, skaing, and Ski-Jumping are all locally available. The Hochfirstschanze in Titisee Neustadt is Germany's largest natural ski-jump, and was home to the world championships in 2005.more
1: Hiking. There is a trail that circles the lake. It's very popular and probably take an hour or two.2. Camping. The camp sites were packed with caravans and tents. 3. Rent a boat. The main attraction. It's not huge, a walk round took slightly over one hour and we were not hurrying. Parts are very pretty and some is walking by the roadside, not always close to the water either, but an enjoyable walk all the same.Several places to stop for refreshments on the way too.more

Titisee is home to souvineer shop after souvineer shop. Along the seestrasse are dozens of shops each offering thousands of cuckoo clocks for tourists. This isn`t really a warning, if that is what you are after.
Additionally some of the souvineer shops sell local black forest produce, which, whilst pricier than available elsewhere, is absolutely delicious!
