It was a Saturday night, and we couldn't find a nice-looking restaurant in the old part of Venningen. But then we came across this place. It looked nice at first glance, so we went in. In fact, it is a nice, cozy, quiet restaurant with friendly staff and great Italian food! We felt so lucky to find it, and will go back if in Venningen again.

Favorite Dish: I had a tortellini dish with ham -- it was delicious!!!

A nice and cosy almost Irish style bar!
Friendly service, good food and a wide range of malt whiskies.
Music is sometimes too noisy to talk, but the waiter will see for that if you ask for it.
They have full-screen soccer events on TV!

Extending scissors

Compared to places like Elzach, there isn't much to fear in Villingen. The spectators are treated gently here. You may be 'dusted' with a smooth feathery duster, that's all.

If you wear a hat or cap, though, keep watch. There may be some extending scissors around... With this tool they can reach out over 2 or 3 metres, grab your hat and put it on someone else's head.
