Weil der Stadt is a little town in southern Germany first named in the 13 century and only a few miles away from Stuttgart. It´s perfect for an excursion while you are visiting Black Forrest at it's northern border.

Never ask for Carnival. No one will answer you. But about the "Fasnet" everyone will give you a lot of information. Weil der Stadt organizes one of the largest parades in the Stuttgart area and if the weather is sunny more than 60,000 people watch the parade.
