    Bergmannstrasse Berlin Kreuzberg

    by Karin1S Updated Apr 4, 2011

    4.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Take the Subway to Gneisenaustrasse or Platz der Luftbrücke and visit the famous Bergmannstrasse in Berlin Kreuzberg - you'll find the spirit of the "old" Berlin - a lot of students take theire breakfast at Atlantik or Pfau . . . a second hand shop or a crazy leather shop . . . a lot of snack-bars and don't miss the "Markthalle" at the end of the road - a lot of small stalls are in it with indian spices or turkish vegetabeles greek cheese . . . enjoy the spirit of Kreuzberg

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

If you like walking around, than you will for sure bump into many small hiden shops, where you can find many unusuall things to buy. Like a shop where you only old Russian war items are sold, old weappons, uniforms, hats, belts, medalions, etc...

Gelbe Musik - Experimental Music Shop

    by cwest03 Updated Oct 8, 2004

    0.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

An excellent shop for experimental music with an amazingly knowledgeable staff. Featuring CDs, vinyl, tapes, books and magazines. This little shop has a very large focused collection. As in most music shops in Europe you are able to listen before you buy which is nice when you're exploring new music.

This is a little unconvential tip, but you just have got to go to the sony store in the Sony Center at the Potsdamer Platz.

Why? Because of AIBO!!!! Aibo is a little robot dog and it is truly amazing what he can do. He can recognize you with the little camera in its head and he can play with a ball almost like a real dog.

Wessel and AIBO, forever friends ;-)
