For the visitor from north America this place is no big deal , but if you are European it has more appeal because it is a great place to have a decent burger. We do of course have the usual fast foo outlets but there aren't too many places where you can sit in arestaurant atmosphere and have a burger.

I am not proud to admit that till now I had no idea what Hard Rock Cafes are like. We had two in Ljubljana till about six years ago, and they were both just crap pubs. So this was my first time in a proper one. Staff is great here, so is the food, but it's quite expensive, and you must be willing to eat while loud hard rock music is almoust louder than in most clubs. American burgers that are good. lots of choice, you can download the menu from the website. Hard rock cafes follow the same theme as you may know but it's always good to have a look at the memorabilia on display. The staff are really friendly, I was travelling alone on my last trip here but was made more than welcome and had lots of chats and fun with the gang of people here. I search for the Hard Rock Cafe in every city I visit. You know exactly what to expect and you can always find a catalog in English.
Berlin's Hard Rock is very old, the atmosphere and the service are great. You can easily combine it with a walk at Kurfurstendamm shopping centers. But do not combine it with a visit to a place offering internet access nearby: nobody speaks english there and you will loose your time guessing where the PCs are, how you pay, how you start browsing...
Another good poing is that there is a parking just below Hard Rock and you can also park at the street if you find a place.

This is somekind of a joke. I don`t really even like Hard Rock Cafes but still in away I am collecting these restaurants. When you have seen one you have seen them all. So there is nothing special in Berlin`s cafe. Berlin comes to life when other citys in Europe are calling it a night. The Hard Rock celebrates this attitude at Western Berlin location in the exuberant Ku`damm, amidst beer halls, coffee houses, theatres, the opera, and every other kind of entertainment you can imagine.
